We are looking forward to bringing our exciting Hobby Horse Competition to this premium indoor arena (with a lovely café) for the second time!
SUPPORTING HOBBY HORSE OF THE YEAR CHAMPIONSHIPS who will have their own schedule of classes which will be Championship classes in the main ring. Contact British Hobby Horse Competition Club for more information on this.
Expect a full day of fun-filled activities and thrilling races – whether you’re a total beginner, a seasoned jumper, or a fan of fancy dress, there’s something here for every hobby horse enthusiast!
Everyone’s welcome – including children with any range of disability or neurodiversity. We’re always happy to help make things easier – just ask!

Event Timings
10am – Check in, collect your rider number and warm up! Parents can grab a coffee and chill in or near the beautiful restaurant inside the arena.
Ring 1 – Jumping Fun
1. 30cm Show Jumping – Clear round timed jump-off **Qualifers for Championship classes**
2. 50cm Intermediate – Test your skills! **Qualifers for Championship classes**
3. 70cm Advanced – Test your skills! **Qualifers for Championship classes**
4. 40cm Show Jumping – Same course, a little taller!
5. 30/50cm Pairs – Relay style with a friend
6. Accumulator – Dash around and collect points in 30 seconds
Ring 2 – Creative & Speedy Challenges
7. Mounted Games – Obstacle madness – how fast can you go?
8. Barrel Racing – Classic cloverleaf race around barrels
9. Scurrying – Two riders, one pole, twisty course = teamwork magic!
10. Chase Me, Charlie – One jump gets higher each go. Will you make it?
11. Best Turned Out – Style your pony! Optional rider costume too
12. Grand National – Teams of 4 race to win medals!
